History of Cogdell
Insurance Agency |
Mr. Cogdell
entered the Life and Health Insurance business in December, 1963, after
successfully completing an insurance course at The University of Tennessee
Extension School in Memphis. At that time, state law required a person
to be of the minimum age of 21 to obtain an insurance license. Mr.
Cogdell petitioned the Courts and on December 10, 1963, the Honorable Judge
Andrew Tip Taylor granted his request to remove his minority age and be
declared an adult at age 18 so he could get his insurance license.
From 1963 to 1985, he was employed by National American and Life of Georgia
Insurance Company.
In July of 1985 he started
his own agency, Cogdell Insurance Agency. Having dedicated himself to
providing the best service possible to his clients, the agency has grown
every year to become one of the area's largest life-health agencies.
The Cogdell Insurance
Agency provides Medicare supplements, Group Hospital, Life and Dental,
Individual, Family, or Children only Health Insurance Plans that include a
wide choice of co-pay plans, Life Insurance Annuities, and Short-term Main
Medical Insurance.
